UNCOMMON BREAKTHROUGH
MEMORY VERSE: "For "He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifted up the beggar from the dunghill, to see them among princes, amd to make them inherit the throne of Glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them" (1 Samuel 2:8)

Once in a while the Almighty God may decide to do the extra-ordinary with somebody. Psalm 115:3 says nobody can hinder God from doing whatever he pleases. God can look down from Heaven and pick someone in the deepest pit who has been written off,both by others and himself, and place him on the greatest throne of the universe. When He does this, He would say, 'Let me see who will question me.' As a representative of the Most High, I hereby prophesy on you that very soon you will be winning and dinning with presidents, government, captains of industry. Even if you were considered insignificant, by virtue of using this devotional, you are in for the greatest break through of you life. It shall be well with you. Your end shall be worth celebrating in Jesus name. God specializes in doing the unexpected and lifting the undeserving. In one night, he transformed Joseph from prisoner into Prime Minister (Genesis 41). God Opened the Heavens and released the rain in the form of two dreams which did not allow Pharoah to rest until Joseph got to the top. Whoever God would use to take you into your breakthrough, will receive a dream that will make him or her restless until you reach the top.
You can ride on the dream of others and fulfill yours. Do you know that God has given people some dreams which would affect you positively and catapult you into greatness? The move of God in the Redeemed Christain Church of God today is the fulfillment of a God-given dream. The Redemption camp which host the monthly Holy Ghost service, and the annual Holy Ghost Congress, used to be the den of armed robbers and drug addicts. God took it over and transformed it into a holy city. The Lord will transform you life. Hold on to your God given dream . Remain faithful to God. Sow seeds of prayer, fasting and money into your dreams: it shall come to past.
Action Point: Seek God's face for proper direction regarding the role He wants you to play in fulfiling the vision he gave to the RCCG.

A VIRGIN'S PURITY
Memory verse: "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8)
Read: Matthew 25:1-13
A woman or man who has never had never had carnal knowledge with the opposite sex is a VIRGIN. There are some outstanding attribute of a virgin. The first one is purity. A virgin is pure. God is pure and as a result, He is interested in purity. In the Old Testament, He instructed that everything used in the building of His temple should be pure (Exodus 25). The temple oil was to be pure olive oil (Exodus 27:10). The altar was to be overlaid with pure Gold (Exodus 30:1-3). In fact , we were expected to dress either with 100% pure cotton, pure wool and pure linen. No mix of wool and cotton was tolerated.
Everything about God is purity. Psalm 12:6 says His words and pure. His commandments too are pure (Psalm 19:8). Little wonder God pays particular interest to virgins. They are special to Him. 2 Samuel 22:27 says, " With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with thy froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury." If you are pure, you will access the priceless benefit that God has reserved for the pure like Him. He will regard you as He regards Himself. He will gently treat you as He treats Himself. According to Job 8:6-7, if you are pure, God will arise and take over your battles. That means anyone who makes you their object of attack, will end up fighting God, not you. Many believers claim the promise of Exodus 14:14 but it does not materalize because their lives fall short of the level of purity to cause God to rise and fight on their behalf.
The Lord promises prosperity for the pure. Purity is a spiritual magnet that automatically attracts the best of God's goodness, not crumbs. Whenever purity is, increase will come. If your beginning is small, your ends shall be great. Are you pastor of a very small church? If you are pure, God will greatly increase you. Matthew 5:8 says the pure are the ones who qualify to see God. Are you pure? Are you still a virgin? You became a virgin the day you receive Jesus into your heart as Saviour. How is your robe of righteousness? Is it still white, clean and pure? Have you defiled yourself with the portion of the king's meat through compromise in your family, office, school or ministry? Arise and Repent. Walk before God spotlessly and He will delight in you.
ACTION POINT: Purity is a virtue every Heaven -bound believer must have. Do you have it?

Christainity not a Cult

When it was time for himto call upon his God, Elijah asked the Isrealite to come closer so that they can see what he was about to do. There was nothing to hide. The Christain faith is not a secret cult. We do not hold our services with doors locked. Everyone is free to come and see what we are doing. Any assembly where outsiders are shut out , is a cult, irrespective of the appelation they might be identified with. If you belong to a sect which prohibit admittance of women, say your wife, it is a cult, no matter how many chapters of the Psalm they read.
After preparing the altar, Elijah asked the people to pour water thrice on it until it was flowing. This was intended to erase any doubt that he secretly hid fire underneath. It was also to complicate the situation so that the power of his God would be evidently displayed. He knew that with his God , the more complicated or impossible the situation, the easier for Him. Do you know your God that much? If you attend a church where they hire people to feign sickness and later testify to being healed there, leave that place immediately because it is a cult , now a Church. "BELOVED, believe noe evry spirit, but try the spirit whether they are of God: because many false prophet are gone out into the World' (1 john 4:1).
Where you worshipis very important. If there is a contrary spirit in opertaion there, you are in the wrong place. If the pastor is living in Flagrant sin or unsing some alternative means , run from there. Satan is out to deceive many today in the name of miracle. Those who donot care abotu the source of miracle will end up in cults. If the difference between the church you attend and the native doctor is just the Bible preached, then you are in a cult. Place where they carry our ceremonial baths, incisions, rituals, sacrifices of animal, prayers to or through angels or any human being dead or alive other that Jesus Christ, are cults. Jesus came to set you free from such bondages, so that you can serve God without any inhibition. Be wise today. Pleasing God and making Heaven are central points in Christianity. Any Church that ask you to violate God 's written word, the Bible, must be avoided like the plague. Save yourself today.
Action Point : Examine where you worship, the method being used and spirit in operation. If they are not of God, move to some place else.
